Hi, I’m Jacob. I’m a fourth year maths student and I am the Ball Chair for this year. In case you don’t know Castle has three balls throughout the year: Ladies Night, Halfway Hall and The June Ball. The June Ball in particular is in my view the highlight of year. Having started 136 years ago it has changed a lot but is still one of most well known balls in the UK - it has featued in Mastercard's top events money can buy as well as featued in Tatler's Bystander . It allows for guests to enjoy a three course meal and explore both music acts and entertainment we have throughout the night. Guests hopefully make it to 5am (not something I have always achieved) to then have survivors breakfast after the 12 hours.

These Balls are organised by a committee of over 40 students so if you would like to be invloved applications open both after Fresher's Week and again in Epiphany but if you have any questions feel free to send me a message.
