We can’t wait to welcome you to Durham and to Castle in September, please read this message from our Head Frep, Diya, and our Social Chair, Coco on what you can expect!

Hey!!! I’m Rhys and I’m about to start my 3rd year in Durham. My role is Head Freshers Rep, which means I’m in charge of a team of about 50 Freshers reps, I organise Freshers’ Week daytime events, run the Castlefreshersweek26 instagram + a lot of other stuff behind the scenes. You can ask me about all things Freshers week & moving into college, and I'm here to make sure you have the best time possible and can't wait to welcome you to Castle!

Hi everyone, and welcome to Freshers’ Week at Castle! The week is run by the Head Frep (freshers-representative) and the social chair, helped along by our fantastic Frep team. The week will start with move in, which will be over 27th-28th September for most, and slightly earlier for international students, early arrivals and preseasons. The week is packed full of fun events, games, nights out, icebreakers, and more, so there are loads of opportunities to find your place here at Castle (as well as plenty of down-time too). We can’t wait to welcome you all, and introduce you to (in our opinion) the best Durham college!
