Coco Pollard

Hi! I’m Coco, I’m in my 4th year of MBiol Biosciences, and I’m delighted to be your Social Chair this year! We’ll have lots of events this year through Social Comm, with a major event every term - Freshtival in October, Castle Day in June, and a surprise one coming up in Epiphany…

We also run lots of smaller events throughout the terms, such as the Christmas Hound, and maybe a few new ones. It’ll be a fun year, so I hope everyone is as excited as I am! There’s lots of opportunity to get involved, and I can’t wait to see you all there.

Outside of my JCR role and academics, I’m really involved with college rowing, with this being my 4th year of UCBC, but I have also tried my hand at load of other college sports and societies like CCO, darts, outreach, mixed netball and anything else I feel like giving a go!

Favourite Castle Memory: Going to Freshtival last year after what had been a very successful, but not quite stress-free Freshers Week! It was so much fun to celebrate the end of Freshers with the whole Frep team, see all our returner friends again, and break that week of Frep sobriety. It was a fantastic start to the year.
