Hi, I'm Izzy, a third-year Sociology student, and I'm so excited to be your Social Chair this year!

I'll be planning and overseeing the college's social calendar, from Freshers' Week all the way through to Castle Day. There are loads of exciting events to look forward to, from major highlights like Castle Day to much-loved traditions like the Christmas Hound, and maybe even a few new additions along the way!

There are so many ways to get involved in college life, whether you're looking to meet new people, try something different, or make the most of your time at Castle. I can't wait to meet you all and see you at our events this year!

Outside of college, you can often find me out for a coffee, browsing through Waterstones, or generally procrastinating my degree! I love playing games, reading, and staying busy and am always up for a chat so feel free to come and grab me or pop me a message on Facebook Messenger!

Favourite Castle Memory: It's really difficult to narrow down my favourite Castle memory. I loved Frepping (and am very excited to be running Freshers Week this year). Castle Day this year was brilliant! Good weather, good music, good food (M&S, of course), and after putting so much work into it, it was great to see it pay off! All of the balls and formals have been spectacular, and I honestly can't wait for another year.
